Where the Green Grass Grows: Green, Chocolate Brown & Ivory

{Green, Chocolate Brown & Ivory}

Green is a color that always has a way of catching my eye. Symbolizing life, energy, hope and growth, green goes hand in hand with the color chocolate brown. Add in a touch of ivory and you have a palette that really is perfect for a Spring or even Summer wedding on the farm. This palette really is charming. Sweet homespun details like that handcrafted bird cake topper and those rustic pencils used for signing the guestbook make this wedding feel special. I love the lanterns strung from the ceiling and I can imagine how it would feel to dine under those twinkling lights! Sweet, romantic and far from flashy, this wedding really does have a charming feel to it.

A Summer to Remember: Cranberry, Latte & Ivory

{Cranberry, Latte & Ivory}

Cranberry is one of the colors that I'm really loving this year. It's rich yet not overdone. And when combined with the neutral shades of latte and ivory, it really takes me somewhere special! It's the perfect palette for late Summer weddings and I can even see this palette being used for early Fall. I'm absolutely loving the groomsmen attire with coordinating cranberry neckties and those gorgeous chiffon bridesmaids gowns. What a beautiful palette for an outdoor wedding. I imagined this wedding to take place in the deep South, somewhere under the treetops. Romantic and charming, this palette is just one of those palettes that is timeless and won't go out of style.

Sunflowers & Sunsets: A Palette of Yellow, Chocolate Brown, Chartreuse & Ivory

{Chocolate Brown, Chartreuse, Yellow & Ivory}

I've always thought that having a late Summer wedding filled with big, bright sunflowers would be such a fun way to celebrate! Sunflowers are definitely fun and full of life! I'm absolutely loving this gorgeous table display by Objectsplendor and think that the use of pattern, color and texture truly are used in such a way that conveys a modern elegance that is truly unmatched. Looking for a way to wow your guests? Don't forget how important texture and pattern is! As you can see here, it's eye-catching patterns like these that really stand out! Use patterned fabric on napkin rings and centerpieces to give them that extra something! Other ideas I'm loving in this board are those lime green heels, the beautiful yellow flower tucked in front of the bride's veil, and that gorgeous bridal bouquet!

Out in the Country: A Palette of Latte & Ivory

{Latte & Ivory}

I've always thought that saying 'I do' in a rustic location was the perfect way to go! Somewhere out in the country where it's quiet and quaint. A place that is far from the hustle and bustle of the city. I, for one, feel that it's places like this that don't require much of a color palette to really feel special. For this wedding, I wanted to keep things feeling very natural and rustic. I combined white and ivory with the color latte to create this soft and subtle feel. I love the idea of a bride in cowboy boots! Who doesn't? And if you're going to go country, why not string your escort cards on a laundry line with old fashioned clips? Simple, sweet and definitely understated, this is the type of wedding that will leave your guests feeling like they went to a wedding that was truly special.
